Snap SOP Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

Effective Date: Dec 21, 2025

This Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) forms part of the Snap SOP Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) between Snap SOP, Inc. (“Snap SOP”) and the customer entity or individual (“Customer”) and applies where Snap SOP processes Personal Data on behalf of Customer in connection with the Snap SOP services.

Definitions

Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings set forth in the Agreement or applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), UK GDPR, and applicable U.S. privacy laws.

  • “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
  • “Processing” means any operation performed on Personal Data.
  • “Controller” means the entity that determines the purposes and means of Processing.
  • “Processor” means the entity that Processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller.

 

Roles of the Parties

Customer is the Controller of Personal Data contained in Customer Content. Snap SOP acts as a Processor when processing such Personal Data on Customer’s behalf. Snap SOP acts as a Controller for account, billing, and website data.

Scope and Purpose of Processing

Snap SOP shall process Personal Data solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Snap SOP services in accordance with the Agreement and documented instructions from Customer.

Customer Obligations

Customer represents and warrants that:

  • It has a lawful basis to collect and process Personal Data
  • It has provided all required notices and obtained any required consents
  • Its instructions comply with applicable data protection laws

 

Snap SOP Obligations

Snap SOP shall:

  • Process Personal Data only on documented instructions from Customer
  • Ensure personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations
  • Implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures
  • Assist Customer with data subject rights requests where applicable
  • Notify Customer of a confirmed Personal Data breach without undue delay

 

Subprocessors

Customer authorizes Snap SOP to engage subprocessors to provide the services. Snap SOP will maintain a list of subprocessors and impose data protection obligations on them that are substantially similar to those in this DPA.

International Transfers

Where Personal Data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, Snap SOP relies on approved transfer mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), and implements supplementary safeguards where required.

Data Retention and Deletion

Upon termination of the Agreement, Snap SOP will delete or return Personal Data in accordance with the Agreement, unless retention is required by law.

Audits

Upon reasonable written request, Snap SOP will provide information necessary to demonstrate compliance with this DPA. Audits, if any, shall be subject to confidentiality and reasonable scope limitations.

Liability

This DPA is subject to the liability limitations set forth in the Agreement.

Governing Law

This DPA shall be governed by the laws specified in the Agreement.
